STRETCHED Land Rover 101FC Expedition Camper So far visitors have got muddy here! BACK TO MARTYN'S LITTLE LAND ROVER AND 101FC SITE

Just an idea... Enlarge:  600x317  800x423  1291x683 I've often wondered what my perfect vehicle would be, if I had the opportunity to sit down and design it myself?  I have no doubts that it would be a 101 based expedition camper with extreme luxury... This 'impression' inspired me to look at what I could possibly do! At present, the idea is to take a 'rolling chassis', extend it as above and add the following: Vehicle: Rolls Royce or Jaguar V12 Petrol engine 2 180L Stainless steel petrol tanks 2 110L LPG tanks Full 6X6 drivetrain with high/low selectable ratio gearing and difflocks Power Steering Air Conditioning Interior: 4 berth (2 Double beds) Shower Flush toilet 200L fresh water tank Gas cooker and oven (powered by LPG) Central heating (powered by LPG) It may never happen, but I have been offered a rolling chassis... ;-)
