Landrover FC101 Forward Control Radio Body Into
Service 1975 Converted at some point by the army to a
radio shack (No fittings inside) 3.5 rover V8 four speed
gearbox with added overdrive controled by bowden cable and
winch lever. 50788kms from new.Starts on the button and
runs and drives very well. New battery fitted. Needs a
few things doing to make good, repaint back to nato green. Oil
leak from Overdrive (I'm told its an O ring). Hole in exhaust
just before back box. Small bit of corrosion on n/s/r
crossmember next to bumper. Rumble from front propshaft on
overrun again told this is quite common and will only need new
U/Js on the propshaft. This is all I have found! The chassis
and bulkhead are sound the brakes, electrics, engine and
transmission all do as they should!
Not sure how many of these 101 radio bodys are
about but I'm told they are quite rare(only 2700 101's made
total) roughly 100 ish! Would make a great show vehicle for a
military vehicle enthusiast or off-road camper. Feel free to
ask any questions and I will try to answer them!

the right to withdraw it at
anytime.

information:
Due to the amount of interest in the 101 (145 watchers at
the moment and untold questions) it will be removed from the
auction with ONE day left!!! Unless it reaches it reserve. I
do not want this to end on the last 5 seconds of the auction
by a sniper bidder. Please put the high bid you are willing to
pay for this 101 and let ebay do its
stuff! Sorry but the genuine people interested who
have viewed will be aware of my feelings on
this confirming what I have told them when viewing! There
is another one for sale on Milweb for you to see the
value of these rare machines and left hand drive as
well!!!!
